At 3:30am a 1998 driving at a high rate of speed lost control on Lake Road near Cornwall. Hitting the stone wall on the corner of Cornwall and Lake. The car was launched high enough to take out power lines, landing in the backyard of 392 Cornwall where it burst into flame, killing the male occupant, and burning the side of the house. Police and Fire were on the scene immediately but sadly nothing could be done but contain the fire. Great work Fire and Police!
