RR Recruiting Auxiliary Officer

The Rocky River Police Department Auxiliary is currently recruiting for the position of Auxiliary Officer. Auxiliary officers are not sworn police officers, but they do support the department in the areas of patrol operations, special events and details. It is a volunteer position. The minimum requirements for an Auxiliary Officer are the following:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must pass a background examination, including a polygraph.  

Candidates meeting these requirements may pick up an application at the police department. It can then be submitted to the police department via email, regular mail or in person.
