Fairview Park Branch Library Programs

March 3 at 7:00 p.m.   Hip to That - a four-piece jazz band - will swing the socks off the library!  Playing jazz standards, crossover charts and even a few pop tunes, Hip to That is a diverse group that works their own flavor into each song they perform.  Registration required.   

March 9 at 7:00 p.m.   Come and enjoy Irish Music with Tapped Out!  Celebrate Irish and American music with Tapped Out!  The local Irish duo of Sarah Pap and John Cundiff will entertain with vocals, fiddle, bodhran, guitar, mandolin, whistle and harmonica.  Sponsored by The Friends of the Fairview Park Branch Library.  Registration required.  

March 10 at 7:00 p.m.   First Lady Mary Lincoln, an educated woman of her time and successful White House hostess, was better known for the press coverage of her tragic losses, obsessive personality and unwelcome influence into the political life of her husband, Abraham.  Sharon Morrison Pinzone, Ph. D. will speak on The Press and Mary Lincoln, examining the fascinating life of this First Lady through her letters.  Registration required. 

March 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.   LinkedIn Advanced is aimed at current LinkedIn users who understand the basics and can navigate the site. Join a Career Counselor to learn more detailed information about LinkedIn profiles and how to create a positive presence.  This career workshop will expand on how to manage settings, utilize connections to network, join groups and more.  Registration required.
