RR Municipal Income Tax

The City’s process to convert to RITA from CCA for municipal income tax administration continues. The CCA transaction volume is winding down, while the RITA activity is ramping up.  As of February 16, access to the RITA electronic filing services was not yet available, but it is expected to come online as other steps in the conversion process are completed.

All transactions should be made to RITA.  Estimated payments for 2015 and 2016 may be made to RITA.  A RITA account number has been established for all taxpayers and was displayed on the December 7, 2015 letter sent to you.  Businesses should file the 2015 Form W-2 Reconciliation with RITA.

Also, only one income tax return should be filed for 2015; it should be prepared on a RITA tax form. Forms are available from the RITA web site, Rocky River City Hall and the Rocky River Public Library.

The RITA website is www.ritaohio.com and the phone number is (800) 860-7482.

Remember:

  • the income tax rate of 2.00% that became effective January 1, 2015 will not change with the conversion from CCA to RITA and;
  • the filing deadline is April 18, 2016.
