The Fashions of the Downton Abbey Era

Join us  for The Fashions of the Downton Abbey Era at Rocky River Public Library on Saturday, February 6 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The featured speaker is Kent State University Museum Curator Sara Hume who will discuss how improved technology and shifts in the social and political landscapes from 1912-1925 changed women’s roles and influenced their wardrobes.

The presentation features images of fashionable day and evening wear, underwear, accessories and more from the museum’s extensive wardrobe collection.

Tea and sweets will be provided from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the presentation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Free and no registration required.
