November 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.   John Gingerich, Board Chairman of the Geauga Amish Historical Library, will talk about the history and culture of the Amish in his presentation Getting to Know the Amish.  Mr. Gingerich will be accompanied by members of the Amish community, who will answer questions from the audience.  Sponsored by The Friends of the Fairview Park Branch Library.  Registration required. 

November 9 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.   Baking for Profit is not as simple as it sounds! Attorney Chris Corpus and Food Safety Specialist Joann Dunlevey, Ohio Department of Agriculture, will share rules and regulations of operating a home-based bakery/cottage food business.  Registration required.

November 10 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.   Need to do some research? Don't know where to start? Join us for RefUSA Simplified.  Michael Ray from Infogroup will share the basics of RefUSA, a premier electronic resource for business and consumer research, including in-depth market research for small businesses, entrepreneurs, job seekers and prospective home buyers.  Registration required.  

November 17 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.   Getting to Know the Amish will take us to Lehman’s Country Store.  Glenda Lehman Ervin, Vice President of Marketing and daughter of store founder Jay Lehman, will present the history and stories behind the famed historical store, Lehman’s Country Store, in the heart of Amish Country.  Registration required.
