RRPC Hosts Alternative Christmas Charity Bazaar

A different kind of Christmas shopping.

Rocky River Presbyterian Church welcomes over 17 charities on November 22 at 11:30 a.m. for the 7th Annual Alternative Christmas Charity Bazaar.  Donations can be made to one or all of the non-profit missions and can be given as “Christmas presents” in honor of family and friends.

How does it work?  At the bazaar, visit booths where representatives from each charity will be present to explain the charity's mission and services. Select each charity that you will make your cash (or check) donation to and receive a custom-designed greeting postcard with a description of the gift’s ministry.  Donate to one charity or to all 17.  The cards can then be given to your family or friends to announce the charitable gift given in their honor!  The charities receive 100% of all donations that go directly to the charity and your gifts will be tax deductible.

This year you can select from 14 missions and three Fair Trade Businesses, including Malachi House, Cuyahoga County Habitat for Humanity, Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter, The Gathering Place, Laura’s House, Living Water for the World, Lakewood Community Meals, Fisher House, Shriners Children’s Hospital, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, North Coast Health, Puppies Behind Bars, Egyptian Synod of the Nile Mission, Doughbe River School, Beadforlife, Fair Trade of Hudson, and SOS Children's Villages, USA.

Please join us for this exciting bazaar—you can be “God’s hands and heart” as you honor loved ones in meaningful ways. Mark your calendar!
