Where The River Ends

Since the introduction of "Rocky River, Ohio: Where the River Ends" more than $20,000 has been deposited in the special Rocky River Historical Society account for future planning of a permanent home for the society.

The book is a humorous, intimate and romantic look at Rocky River complete with more than 700 pictures featuring over 3,000 Rocky River residents. The 230-page cocktail table book includes chapters that focus on city workers, schools, the park system, organizations, churches, wildlife and some of the traditions of Rocky River.

Imagine the work that author Tom Harper put into the book and the stories he has to tell. You don't have to imagine any longer. Tom will be sharing his experiences in producing the book on November 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rocky River Senior Center.  The program is sponsored by the Rocky River Historical Society.

The colorful book is priced at $32.50 including tax. It can be purchased at Fords Clothier, Ace Hardware, The Team Shop at Rocky River High School and Lake Road Market or by contacting Tom Harper at 216-406-1583.
