Fairview Park Food Truck Festival Returns for Second Year

Mayor Eileen Ann Patton and the City of Fairview Park are happy to announce the Fairview Park Food Truck Festival is returning for its second year on August 1, 2015, and it promises to be BIGGER than last year. The Fairview Park Recreation Department is working hard to ensure visitors have a diverse collection of food trucks from which to choose. As of publication, over a dozen local food trucks have confirmed their participation.

The festival will feature a number of attractions to entertain every family member. Billy Morris & the Sunset Strip with special guest Georgia Girl will provide live entertainment throughout the festival. In between sets, attendees can play a round of cornhole or try out the NEOS 360 system, which blends the fun of video games with physical activity. Thank you to sponsor Playworld Systems for providing this all-ages attraction. The Food Truck Festival will also feature activities targeted at our younger visitors, including both inflatables and the Gemini Center splash pad.

Volunteers will be serving up adult beverages at the beer tent for those at least 21 years of age with proper identification. Cleveland Water will be on-site with its customized water buggy to provide a free, refillable water source for those visitors who provide their own water bottle.

The Food Truck Festival will take place from 4:00 to 9:00 pm on August 1. The event is free; food and drink will cost. The festival will be located in the Fairview High School parking lot at 4507 West 213th Street in Fairview Park. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or ride RTA. Information on parking availability and shuttle service can be found online at www.fairviewparkrec.com/food-truck-festival.

Thank you to event sponsors Playworld Systems, The McGowan Companies, Cahoon Nursery, Health & Fitness Equipment Centers, and designFITNESS.
