Fairview Park Education Foundation Seeking Golfers

Do you enjoy golf? The Fairview Park Education Foundation is seeking single golfers and foursomes for its annual Golf Outing, slated for Saturday, August 1. The 2015 outing will be held at a new location: the beautiful Grey Hawk Golf Club in LaGrange, Ohio. Lunch is scheduled for 11:00 am with a shotgun start following at 12:00 pm.

The Golf Outing is the Education Foundation's primary fundraiser, the proceeds from which fund scholarships for graduating Fairview High School seniors and grants for teachers that propose projects to enrich student learning. During the 2014-15 school year, the Education awarded $21,750 in scholarships and $9,430 in grants.

The cost to golf is $100 per golfer. For this price, golfers receive lunch and a steak buffet dinner. Sponsorships for holes and skill contests are also being sought from local businesses and community members at a cost of $100. The full total is tax deductible for hole and skill contest sponsors. The registration and sponsorship form is available online at www.fpedfoundation.org/golf-outing.

The Fairview Park Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit formed in 1984 to enrich, enhance, and supplement learning opportunities for the students, educators, and community of Fairview Park. For more information, visit the Education Foundation's brand new website at www.fpedfoundation.org
