February 10 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In this competitive marketplace, Returning to Work After an Extended Break, such as raising children or becoming a caregiver, may seem challenging. Knowing where to start, what to say and how to prepare to re-enter the workplace can seem intimidating. In this workshop, gain helpful strategies to transition back into the work world. February 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. As part of the library's Writing Cleveland workshop series, this event focuses on writing nonfiction. These workshops will examine Cleveland’s stories from Hart Crane to Mark Winegardner. Participants will start to write their own stories about Cleveland’s past, present or future while in class and polish their work at home. Each workshop focuses on a different genre. February 23 at 7:00 p.m. Join us for Women in History: Elizabeth Keckley. Madelyn Sanders of Women in History will reenact the life of Elizabeth Keckley, personal maid, best friend and confidant to First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln. Registration required.
