Annual Hair of the Dog Fundraiser for Lakewood Shelter
The Citizens Committee for the Lakewood Animal Shelter is proudly sponsoring its 10th Annual Hair of the Dog Happy Hour and Silent Auction on Thursday, May 1, from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Around the Corner Saloon in Lakewood. Support animal welfare in your own backyard by enjoying an evening filled with music, food and local merchandise!
Dozens of Lakewood and Cleveland-area businesses have donated items and services for a silent auction, including tickets to Cleveland sporting events and live shows, spa certificates, and more! Tickets for the event are $25 per person, and local comedian Mark McKenzie of Last Call Cleveland is returning as emcee. As always, 100% of the proceeds will benefit sick and abandoned animals in Lakewood and will help to fund the expansion of spay/neuter and foster programs.
For 30 successful years, the Citizens Committee has turned the Lakewood Animal Shelter into more than just a city pound by helping abandoned dogs, cats and other animals find safe and loving "furever" homes.
