The Rotary Club of Lakewood Rocky River Sunrise New Officers and Directors

On July 11, Terry Vincent of the Brouse McDowell, LPA, law firm was installed by Rotary District 6630 Assistant Governor, Shawn Mueller as the sixth President of the Lakewood Rocky River Sunrise Rotary Club.

Terry joined the newly formed Club as a charter member in June 2007 and has served on various club committees over the last five years. He was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2008 and Vice President in 2011. Terry has also served the community in various other ways including, Chairman of the Board of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce from 2009 to 2011. He has been active in many organizations in Lakewood.  Terry is also an avid supporter of sports programs at Lakewood High school, where his son, Johnathan, was a starter on the football and basketball teams and a Regional qualifier on the track team this past school year.  Terry and his wife Candace are also the proud parents of two daughters, both currently attending college.

At the July 11 meeting, Assistant Governor, Mueller, also installed Officers, Chuck Drumm, Vice President; Treasurer, Tim Hill; and Secretary, Tom Giffels and Committee Chairs; Community Service, Mike Hamed; International Service, Marty Harris and Jean Vahue; New Generations, Barb Sabal; Vocational Service, Patty Ryan; Membership Development, Kathy Berkshire; RI Foundation, Jonathan Clark; Public Relations, Larry Faulhaber;; Children of the Dump Shoe Box Project, Bill Gaydos; Sgt at Arms, Todd Kiick; and Fund Raising, Dave Clements and Randy Gray.

The Sunrise Club was selected as the Best Rotary Club, for its size, in District 6630 for the Rotary year 2010/2011. In 2012 the Sunrise Rotary Club received the RI President’s Citation, A.Z. Baker Award for the 2011/2012 Rotary year for its service activities in meeting the objectives of Rotary and the Literacy Project Award for the Student of the Month in Rocky River.  

The Rotary Club of Lakewood Rocky River Sunrise Club meets at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesdays.at the Umerley Hall of the Rocky River Civic Center. Come to a meeting and learn how you can be part of community international service activities of Rotary International.
