Computer Assisted Genealogy
9:30 AM - 2:00 PM
10 a.m.: Morning Session: Using Your Tablet for Genealogy. Bring your tablet, whatever type, or even your smart phone. We'll look at different apps for genealogy and others that help us take notes, scan, photograph, work with maps and more.
11:15 a.m.: USER GROUP: There will three user groups for November.
Family Tree Maker - RootsMagic and TMG - and new: DNA
Noon: Brown Bag Lunch
1 p.m.: Afternoon Computer Fundamentals: Charting Your Genealogy with Jean Hoffman. Your genealogy program will create many charts but maybe not the one you want. There are programs and printing services to get just what you want. See some of the free versions, printed wall charts, and alternate formats.
